We’re very proud that Wholegrain is a London Living Wage Employer, accredited by the Living Wage Foundation. This means that everybody employed by Wholegrain earns a minimum of £10.20 per hour (correct as of 2017), so never less than c. £20,000 annually.
As a web design company, our employees generally earn significantly more than this, but we still believe it’s important to make this commitment. To learn more about the reasons behind our decision, read Tom’s blog post.
In general, we don’t have a fixed salary structure. We tailor each salary to the individual concerned, taking into account their experience, qualifications, skills and abilities. However, we are committed to a wage ratio of 3:1, which means the highest paid employee is never paid more than three times the salary of the lowest paid.
